Growing up in Vegas, graduating from UNLV and working in the restaurant and hospitality industry since she was 15 years old, Kathryn knows her city well! Inspired by her love for food and passion for traveling, Kathryn Kelly created Taste Buzz Food Tours, a food tour company that allows Vegas visitors to experience the type of vacation that they want. Shaun grew up in southern California but Vegas has been his home since 1988. He remembers Vegas the way it used to be before Fremont Street became the Fremont Street Experience, before the Dunes became the Bellagio, and when Wet N’ Wild was located on the Las Vegas Strip.
“I left Vegas a few times to live in Michigan, Indiana, and Utah but Vegas keeps calling me back.”
Even when he’s not at work, you’ll find Shaun hanging out downtown. His favorite places are some of the older local hangout spots like the El Cortez, Elis Island, and Champagnes because it brings back nostalgia of Vegas past.
Shaun loves pasta and makes a mean red sauce with Italian hot sausage and red wine. He’d be happy to make it for you if you promise to do karaoke with him!
Take a food tour with Shaun and he’d love to tell you where all the best bargains are and where to meet the locals.
